| This fascinating “museum inside a museum” contains a highly specialised “niche” collection aimed at both a very particular public of clock lovers, collectors or simply curious visitors who are interested not only in the uniqueness of the time measuring instrument itself but above all in how it’s mechanism evolved over the centuries. The collection contains over 200 clocks, ranging from the very first monastic time measurers who aided the monks in the perfect timing of their prayers (14th century), to unusual examples of time-keeping creativity (up to the 20th century). This is the nucleus of the private collection of Pier Luigi Morsiani. It is a true “journey in time with time machines”. |
