Ancient Captain's Refectory |
Adjacent to the Ancient Armoury Hall and connected to it with an arched open door , is an intimate environment where, in ancient times, the commanders of the military garrison stationed at the castle, ate meals. At the heart of the beautiful room, with a multicolored window panes overlooking the cloisters and the courtyard, there is a large chandelier of Murano of the nineteenth century with polychrome glass paste flowers. The showcases conserve a fine collection of art pottery from Deruta and a line of clothing with the insignia of the Castle Castelleone. |
