Since time immemorial the concept of the “family hearth” has been the focal point of any self-respecting home, and in the Castle it finds its sublime expression in the ground floor kitchen and dining room, that area where one gathers with family and friends to enjoy the preparation and consumption of a good meal with a fine glass of wine. The Umbrian culture of hospitality and its tradition of fine cuisine is one of the highlights of any visit. The kitchen of the Castle has been re-created with large ancient chestnut cabinets and state of the art culinary technology, ready to take on the most demanding of chefs.
